Drawn on Film

Drawn on Film animation is what it sounds like, the animation is drawn on the film reel. This method skips the process of Cel animation, photographing and video sequencing, or the process of digital rendering, drawn on film shows the image on individual frames in the reel of film.

Advantages of this technique is that you can skip a lot of processes by drawing on film, disadvantages of this technique are you cant make many mistakes and once again you cannot save your work.

I personally would not use this technique as im not brilliant at drawing so instead of this i would prefer to use a computer animation program such as adobe flash.

Below is a video showing you how to use this technique.
